Mammoth Hall Press was established in 1990 when Leah Springate and Paul Hunter were both students at the Ontario College of Art. They began by making small editions of hand-printed, hand-bound books. Over the years the Press has evolved to encompass all of their creative output.
Leah is a artist and designer in Owen Sound. She works in many printmaking media including linocut and woodcut, etching and drypoint, screen-printing, cyanotype, and letterpress. Her work is held internationally in public and private collections.
Paul is an artist and writer living in Owen Sound. He graduated from the Ontario College of Art with honours in Printmaking and Book Arts. His art is driven by an interest in nature and mark-making. His work is held internationally in public and private collections.
